Salted caramel

Nature's caramel.

Charlie knew there had to be a healthy salted caramel ice cream. But creating one without caramel (i.e. sugar!) was not easy. 

Oppo's salted caramel is made using the Peruvian lucuma fruit. This fruit gives our ice cream a smooth maple taste, quickly chased by a rounded caramel flavour which is then enhanced with a pinch of rich mineral sea-salt.

Charlie discovered lucuma (known as 'gold of the incas') while travelling in Peru. Lucuma is shaped like a melon, with golden flesh and a big single stone. With plenty of beta carotene, iron, zinc, vitamin B3, calcium, and protein.

This is actually Charlie's favourite flavour and the one he's most proud of. 

What's the secret ingredient? 

The hero in this flavour is Lucuma, a Peruvian fruit with a natural caramel-like taste.  


Madagascan Vanilla

Not your standard vanilla.

Charlie felt the nation's favourite flavour needed a boost! 

Madagascan vanilla pods combined with the subtle tang of the African baobab fruit create a thick, creamy, deliciously indulgent vanilla ice cream without a high fat content.

Baobab pulp is sweet with a slight tang - somewhere between a caramelised pear and a grapefruit. The high fibre content in baobab makes our Madagascan vanilla flavour creamy... without the cream. The fruit is also a rich source of Vitamin C, potassium, and contains more antioxidants than any other fruit. 

With Oppo, there's no need to be vanilla.

The hero in this flavour is wild-harvested African Baobab, a sweet fruit from the ancient 'tree of life'.

Mint choc chip was always Charlie's favourite flavour as a child. A healthy variant was therefore a must!

Oppo combines American mint leaves, a rich cacao swirl and spirulina (sourced from the South China Sea) to create a smooth, creamy and refreshing ice cream with indulgent swirls of rich chocolate. 

One tablespoon of Spirulina contains 4 grams of Protein and an abundance of vitamins and iron.

Green doesn't have to mean boring.
